Our History
1990
The Founding
Faude GbR was founded in 1990 by Ute and Dieter Faude as a service provider for electrical planning.
1992
The first change of name
As a result of increased demand, the name was changed for the first time to Faude Automatisierungstechnik GmbH, including the expansion of the range of services to include software development for automation systems.
2005
The first system partnership
As a result of many years of software and automation development for the various Bosch plants, Faude became a “Bosch Rexroth system integrator.”
2010
The first cobot
When the up-and-coming cobot manufacturer Universal Robots was looking for sales and integration partners in 2010, Faude was selected by UR as the first “preferred partner” in Germany and a long-term partnership was established.
2015
Getting started with KUKA
Thanks to the outstanding success in advising and integrating UR Cobots in the German market, KUKA Systems became aware of Faude and got involved financially. KUKA Systems benefited from Faude's knowledge of human-robot collaboration (MRK) to use KUKA system solutions in the automotive industry.
2021
Separation of KUKA and transfer to Faude Tec GmbH
KUKA's focus was increasingly shifting from system solutions to KUKA robot sales, which is why the objectives of Faude Automatisierungstechnik GmbH and KUKA no longer fit together optimally. In 2021, KUKA then left the company and changed its name to Faude Tec GmbH.
Our leadership
Manfred Münch was the first employee of the former Faude (1995) and has worked in the area of automation and control technology ever since. He is therefore our technical expert with enormous experience.
Dirk Thamm has worked in robotics and automation since 1996. With management experience at Festo and CEO experience in the KUKA Group, Dirk Thamm brings project management expertise to our projects.
