Handling your data

Faude Tec GmbH (hereinafter also referred to as “FAUDE”) takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and complies with legal, in particular data protection regulations.

2. General

The following statement gives you an overview of what type of personal data is collected for which purpose and on which legal basis in connection with our website. Personal data is all data that relates to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior. In addition, we will inform you of your rights vis-à-vis us as the person responsible.

3. Data processing on this website

If you use this website for informational purposes only, FAUDE automatically collects and stores information in the server log files that your browser transmits to us. This data is technically necessary for us to display this website to you and to ensure stability and security (the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR):

  • IP address
  • Date and time of request
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request (specific page)
  • Access status/HTTP status code
  • Each amount of data transferred
  • Website from which the request comes
  • Browser, including language and version of the browser software
  • operating system and its interface

FAUDE will not assign this data to specific persons and will not combine this data with other data sources.

We will also delete the aforementioned data after use for the purposes mentioned above (system security and administration).

4. Cookies

Cookies are also stored on your computer when you use the website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive associated with the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to the location that sets the cookie (in this case us). Cookies cannot run programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They serve to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall.

We only use session cookies to operate our website. These store a so-called session ID, which can be used to assign various requests from your browser to the joint session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to the website. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.

You can also prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly. If you prevent cookies from being stored, we would like to point out that you may not be able to make full use of this website.

5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offering within the meaning of Article 6 (1) lit. f. GDPR). Google uses. cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offer by users, to compile reports on activities within this online offer and to provide us with other services related to the use of this online offer and Internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles of users can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of users is abbreviated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there.

The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not combined with other data from Google. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Users' personal data will be deleted or anonymized after 14 months.

6. Your rights

You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to personal data concerning you:

  • Right to information
  • Right to correction or deletion
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to data portability

To assert these rights, please contact our data protection representative at data-privacy@faudetec.de. The exercise of your rights is generally free of charge for you.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.
