The GoFa 5 (CRB 15000-5/0.95) features integrated torque sensors in each of its six joints, which ensure excellent performance and force limitation. In addition, the GoFA offers best-in-class accuracy of 0.02 mm and a remarkable TCP speed of 2.2 m/s. The robot is specially designed for flexible use via an open structure and is therefore suitable for machine loading, material handling, assembly and bolting, among other things.
Features & Benefits
- Powerful controls: The robot is equipped with the OmniCore C30 controller and RobotWare robot control software. RobotWare supports all aspects of the robot system, such as motion control, the development and execution of application programs, communication, etc. The robot system also has extensive communication options with external systems for the networked factory of the future.
- High sensitivity: Integrated torque sensors in each of its six axes, which offer outstanding performance and force limitation. It also has a range of safety features with SafeMove Collaborative and additional robotic software features, including motion monitoring. Together, they prevent the risk of injury by stopping the robot immediately when it detects contact with a human worker, whether in free contact or in a tense situation.
- Higher productivity: With a TCP speed of 2.2 m/s, the GoFa is faster than comparable robots, with a class-leading accuracy of 0.02 mm and a range of up to 1.62 m (14% more than comparable robots).
- Manual guidance: The lead-through feature is available for robots designed with collaborative applications. Using lead-through means that — as an alternative to the process (jogging) — you grab the robot arm and manually move it to the desired position.

More about
ABB GoFa
ABB is one of the world's leading robot manufacturers and is known for reliable and intelligent industrial robots and software. As early as 1978, ABB brought the first industrial robot onto the market under the original name ASEA. In 1988, the companies ASEA and BBC merged to form today's technology giant ABB with headquarters in Switzerland and over 105,000 employees worldwide. On February 24, 2021, ABB launched the GoFA and SWIFTI collaborative robots, which combine all of ABB's know-how and enable completely new automation applications that are also accessible to newcomers to robotics.
